Happy New Year is an action comedy-drama filmdirected by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The film has an ensemble cast which includes,Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood and Jackie Shroff.
HNY is one of the most awaited movie of 2014. Shah Rukh Khan has always been known for his marketing strategies and HNY is one of the most well marketed movie.
Dino Morea, Prabhu Deva, Sarah-Jane Dias, Malaika Arora Khan, Anurag Kashyap, Vishal Dadlani, Sajid Khan and Anupam Kher have special appearance in the film.
Movie starts with the introduction of jobless college graduate Chandramohan Sharma, who is also knows as Charlie, who is nursing deep wounds. His father (Anupam Kher), who runs a business creating sturdy lockers, is cheated by a businessman Charan Grover (Jackie Shroff) and sends Charlie's father to jail for a robbery which he didn’t commit. Charlie's life is destroyed and he dreams of bringing down Grover. An opportunity presents itself when Grover declares on television that he’s the custodian of precious diamonds worth billions of rupees. It’s an invitation that will tempt any robber-hopeful and Charlie jumps in to it like challenge accepted. He puts together a team that helps him achieve it's goal.
Shah Rukh as charlie is very impressive and his entry in the movie awesome.

Since, it's a Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan movie there is lots of funny movements in the movie. Shah Rukh Khan has not left anything that disappoints his fans, Deepika sizzles in the role of Mohini and Abhishek is also quite impressive in a tapori role..
Overall the movie is a must watch for Shah Rukh Khan fans...
