The makers of "Sarbjit" have released the film's latest poster, which features Randeep Hooda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Earlier, only Aishwarya featured in the first poster of the film and it. Randeep Hooda, who has lost weight for this project, shocked fans with his first look.
The film's story revolves around Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur's (played by Aishwarya) brave and unending fight to release her brother from the Pakistani prison. This is Omung's second biopic after Priyanka Chopra-starrer 'Mary Kom'.
The movie also features Richa Chadha in the character of Sarabjit's wife and "Mary Kom" actor Darshan Kumaar in a pivotal role.
Directed by Omung Kumar, ‘Sarbjit’ is based on the life of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh who was convicted on the charges of terrorism and spying in Pakistan. He succumbed to the injuries he suffered after being brutally assaulted by a fellow jail inmate. The film is set to release on 20th May 2016.
