The makers of the movie Sarbjit have released the film's trailer, which features Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadha. The Omung Kumar directorial is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian jailed in Pakistan after being convicted of spying in the country. Randeep Hooda plays the character of Sarabjit, while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen in the role of Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan impressed viewers in her de-glam avatar, Randeep Hooda surprised fans with his first look. The handsome hunk looked so weak that his bone structure was prominent. It was in a scene when Sarabjit was in jail.
The movie deals with Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir’s struggles to prove her brother innocene, While Sarabjit was awarded death sentence and he dies after his jail inmates attacked him in prison.
The best dialogues of the movie are mouthed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. ‘Kyu har Hindustani dushman aur har Pakistani Aatankwadi hai.’ The best one however was when she says towards the fag end, ‘Tum log peeth par waar karna seekhe ho par hum peeth dikhane walon main se nahi.’
The story revolves around Dalbir's brave and unending fight to get her brother released from the Pakistani prison. The movie also features Richa Chadha, who plays Sarabjit's wife, and "Mary Kom" actor Darshan Kumaar in a pivotal role.The movie is slated to release on 20th May 2016.
