The official trailer of the movie 'Dear Dad' is out. Bollywood, over the years, has made several attempts to show the true bonding of a father with his son. While some end up winning hearts, some just end up being plain filmy and non-realistic. But Tanuj Bhramar’s 'Dear Dad' looks like a refreshing and interesting take on the same topic. Arvind Swamy, who makes a comeback in Bollywood after 18 years, looks matured and confident.
The movie is a bittersweet coming of age story; involving a father-son duo – 14 year old Shivam, and his 45 year old dad Nitin Swaminathan. The father-son duo embarks on an impromptu road trip and how it changes equations between them with Unexpected confessions, weird strangers, accidental meetings, a drunken escapade and singing in the rain – all these add up to a complicated and sweet tale. Starring Arvind Swamy, Himanshu Sharma, Aman Uppal and Ekavali Khanna.
