The makers of the much awaited film 'Banjo' which stars Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri in the lead, has released the first official teaser. The teaser is full of music, drama and action.
But music forms an important part of the teaser as the film is based on the life of Banjo players hailing from Maharashtra. The teaser also shows a Ganpati song sequence. Whereas actress Nargis Fakhri can be spotted in multiple get-ups.
Set in the backdrop of Mumbai, the teaser starts with the snippets of the city. Riteish Deshmukh, a slum dweller with big ambitions makes a remarkable entry by emerging from a manhole. He is seen sporting a long funky hairdo with his head banging to some Banjo riffs. Rightly referred as 'Banjo Ki Duniya Ka Bachchan'.
Banjo is the first Hindi directorial venture of award-winning Marathi film-maker Ravi Jadhav. Produced by Krishika Lulla, the film has been made under the Eros International banner, and is slated to be released on 23rd September 2016.
