It took 19 years for producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director David Dhawan to team up for the sequel of 'Judwaa', and the two were keen to cast fresh pairs in it.
The 1997 blockbuster film’s remake 'Judwaa 2' will see Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu playing female leads opposite Varun Dhawan, who plays double role in the movie.
Varun Dhawan tweeted "It's OFFICIAL.@taapsee and @Asli_Jacqueline with the 2 of me #Judwaa2".
While Jacqueline Fernandez has worked with Varun Dhawan before, in Rohit Dhawan’s 'Dishoom', it is Taapsee Pannu , who is riding high on the success of her film Pink, generated much curiosity since the duo will be romancing on-screen for the first time.
